Mad Magazine: Issue 8
Shortly before the magazine officially announced it would stop publishing new content, my pitch was accepted by their editorial staff. Totally coincidental timing, I assure you. I was not a situation where my submission was so good they decided to shut down the whole magazine, that would be preposterous to even suggest.
The work I submitted was so well-received the editors bumped my placement from a half-page brief to a full-page article. It was a childhood dream fulfilled, just under the wire.
